Range.
The range is situated on Mead Road on the way to Lake Tarawera.
Mead Road: As most of you are probably aware, mead road has had a facelift at considerable cost, to make this expenditure worthwhile and to get the most benefit from the investment there has been a speed restriction placed on the road and to this end signs installed, 25KH is the speed to be observed. The road will need regular maintenance which we will not get for free, so keeping speed down will lengthen the time between maintenance works.
Keys: the new keys are available and they function along with the old key that will cease to function 7/8th April, which is the weekend after Easter this year. The cost of the keys remains the same as last year.
Induction courses: As only new members will need these they will be carried out as required, at club shoots if possible but there are four of us who have been doing them recently so ask if you know of someone requiring the course. It is also intended that the new version of the induction cards should be retained by the members as they are proof of attendance should a member by chance lose a key.
Those who had a key last year/ previously will be required to do a revision which will take the form of a questionaire, Some sessions for this purpose will be held at the club rooms, notification of which will be advised by email and updated to the website.
